During a conversation about his business accomplishments, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick mentioned GTA 6, noting that developer Rockstar aims for “nothing short of perfection” with the game. It should come as no surprise that the sixth installment in the renowned GTA series is regarded as one of the most anticipated games of this generation. However, no one knows when the next installment will be released, though everyone hopes it will be sooner rather than later.

The Grand Theft Auto series is now a quarter-century old, with the fifth game, which debuted in 2013, accounting for ten years of that total. Given the series’ length, many fans are looking forward to the next installment.

It’s no secret that Rockstar produces high-quality games, whether it’s GTA or Red Dead Redemption, but the fact that GTA 6 is still in development is driving many people insane.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick was recently observed on YouTube conversing with Aarthi and Sriram, according to The Gamer. During the discussion, the franchise GTA 6 was mentioned, and the businessman stated that Rockstar wants something that people “have never seen before.”

When it comes to designing a new title for the series, Zelnick says the studio’s answer is to “seek nothing short of perfection” when it comes to its long-running IP. According to Zelnick, the development team appears to be committed to producing what it considers to be the absolute cream of the game industry. The talk about GTA 6 starts at about 30:21.

Given this, Rockstar may simply want the next game to be the best, however, some fans may assume that the studio’s cash cow, GTA Online, is one of the reasons it is dragging its feet. Aside from that, according to a Take-Two financial report, GTA 6 might be released as early as 2024. That is merely speculation at this point, but the developer or publisher will undoubtedly make an announcement on the subject at some point.
