    Gautam Adani invests Rs 60,000 crore in Rajasthan for two hospitals and one cricket stadium

    Gautam Adani, who’s the richest man in India has announced his next investment project which will be a Rs 60,000 crore investment for two hospitals and a new cricket stadium in Rajasthan on Friday. The chairman of Adani Group stated that this proposal was approved by Rajasthan’s Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot as well.

    Gautam Adani also revealed the details of this project which will be a medical college and a hospital opened in two districts that have none. the next one is a cricket stadium built in Udaipur.

    “Today I am very happy to attend the summit. We have announced an investment of Rs 60,000 crore. Simultaneously, while talking to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, we have got approval for two proposals. Two medical colleges will be opened in Rajasthan. In the districts where there are no medical colleges, it has been agreed that we can contribute by opening medical colleges along with civil hospitals. We also discussed with CM Gehlot and Assembly Speaker C.P. Joshi about building a cricket stadium in Udaipur. On behalf of Adani Foundation and Adani Group, we will provide full cooperation to build the stadium,”- Gautam Adani said

    In this May, Adani Sportsline bought the franchise in the forthcoming UAE T20 League. This was the first major investment in cricket and they’ll continue to contribute and grow with another big partnership. Two months back, Adani Sportsline got into a partnership with Legends League Cricket and had a new team named Gujarat Giants. The team was led by Virender Sehwag and Parthiv Patel but lost the eliminator fixture and couldn’t reach the final.

    Many expected the Adani Group to win the bidding for the new entrant, the Ahmedabad franchise in the Indian Premier League in 2021. His bid was Rs 5000 crore but the bid got canceled by CVC Capital partners who had bid for Rs 5600 crore.
