Soon it will have been a year since Indian viewers saw Krafton’s BGMI removed from app stores. In the wake of the battle royale game’s disappointing ban, rumours of its return are now rampant.

The most recent comes from Anuj Tandon, the CEO of Gaming at JetSynthesys and a former executive at Krafton India. He announced on Twitter that “exciting” times were coming for the Indian gaming industry.

Anuj Tandon recently tweeted, “Funny feeling- next quarter is going to be exciting for gaming in India,” in reference to the statement. We wonder if Tandon is alluding to the anticipated return of the nation’s beloved Battlegrounds Mobile India in this cryptic tweet (BGMI). Ocean Sharma, a well-known Indian caster, used an emoji to respond to the tweet as it stands.

While the precise “when” is still unknown, Krafton, the game’s developers, confirmed in August 2022 that they are collaborating with the Indian government to bring the game back. The government is reportedly planning to unbanned BGMI for three months, with some limitations like those on gaming hours. The newest tweet from Anuj Tandon refers to these reports.

In other news a rumor has been going around that in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Government of India, it was decided to lift the ban on Battlegrounds Mobile India, according to the report. Additionally, for the first three months, the Indian government will closely monitor the title to determine whether it satisfies the prerequisites or not.

Battlegrounds Mobile India’s creators, KRAFTON, have not yet provided a date for the game’s relaunch. Gamers should keep in mind that the aforementioned are merely reports. Therefore, players should hold off until the official announcement from KRAFTON or the Indian government. So, we can conclude that the BGMI relaunch’s rumoured launch dates are completely false.
