Another crossover is on the way for Dead by Daylight, this time with Ridley Scott’s deep space horror classic Alien. This next horrifying chapter of Dead by Daylight now has a new teaser as well as a release date (August 29). See here for the previous teaser.
The x Alien patch notes give some more light on what we might expect from this Dead by Daylight and Alien crossover.
The new Killer: The Xenomorph creature from the 1979 film will be the most terrifying addition. The Xenomorph will have a new Killer skill called “Hidden Pursuit,” which allows it to quickly travel the map through a series of tunnels.
Of course, a new map will be included: the crash site of the Nostromo spaceship from the film. Other new content includes new perks, a new special item (the remote flame turret), and a new survivor: Ellen Ripley (as played by Sigourney Weaver).
As of August 8, the public test build is already accessible for Steam gamers, albeit not all features are yet available. Dead by Daylight x Alien will be available on all platforms, including Steam, Epic Games Store, Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4/5. Dead by Daylight is an Xbox Game Pass title.
