We hoped that when Firewalk Studios partnered with Sony Interactive Entertainment, it would result in anything. That day has finally arrived, and the product is known as Concord. Both firms have revealed that their game, Concord, will be released on PlayStation 5 and PC in 2024. We don’t know much about the game yet, but it was promised that more information will be released soon.
PlayStation CEO Jim Ryan appeared near the conclusion of the presentation to announce two new pieces of technology that Sony is developing. One is Project Q, a cloud gaming gadget through which players can stream games. It will be available later this year and will have an 8-inch screen, Wi-Fi compatibility, and all of the buttons and functions of the DualSense controller. Sony is also developing wireless PlayStation earbuds.
Teasing the game with a rather abstract trailer, the team at Firewalk Studios elaborated via the PlayStation Blog, with game director Ryan Ellis announcing that “Concord is our new PvP multiplayer first-person shooter coming to PS5 and PC in 2024.”
Concord is a gathering of people. It is the power of games to connect people and stimulate social play. The team at Firewalk is inspired by the exciting, unexpected moments and shared experiences that online games provide. Every time you log in, a new journey begins, and every match provides an opportunity for a new story to unfold. Concord, its universe of various realms, and its diverse cast of colorful individuals are defined by these ideas.
