The big-budget film of Akshay Kumar Sooryavanshi has already been proved to be the Diwali dhamaka for the fans. It has been directed by Rohit Shetty. This film was released in theatres o 5th November. Now the producers of the film have been stuck with a massive deal with Netflix for the OTT release.
It was featuring Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn, and Ranveer Singh, and this movie will start to stream on Netflix in December just after four weekends of the theatrical release. On Diwali weekend, Sooryavanshi was released on more than 3,500 screens in India and 1,300 screens overseas.

The makers of the film had been delaying the film’s release for a long time due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Finally, Sooryavanshi hit the theatres on November 5. On Day 1, the film earned Rs 26 crore and has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide now.
As for Sooryavanshi’s release on OTT, Netflix has struck a hefty deal with the producers of the film. Four weeks after its theatrical release, the action-packed movie will start streaming on Netflix in the first week of December.
When we reached out to Netflix for a comment about the Sooryavanshi deal, they said we don’t have any inputs on this.

As Sooryavanshi got a phenomenal opening in theatres on November 5, Akshay Kumar shared a goofy video and thanked fans for embracing cinemas once again. He wrote, “Pardon the goofy gig am overjoyed! Thank you SO much for embracing cinemas back in your lives. The super response is not just for Team #Sooryavanshi, it is a mark of faith that’ll bring joy and prosperity back to our film industry.
