The Auction list for TATA IPL 2023 is already out. Unlike the mega auction held in 2022, this will be a mini-auction. A total of 405 cricketers have been shortlisted by the BCCI for the event. At first, BCCI selected only 369 players but on the request from the franchises, BCCI got more players from 991 heads.
Thirty-six extra players were added after the franchises requested the BCCI. 273 players are Indian, 132 are from overseas and 4 players are from the associate nations. A total of 87 seats are available where 30 are for overseas players. The highest base price of INR 2 crores is reserved by 19 overseas players, and 11 are in the range of rs 1.5 crore. In the 1 crore bracket, out of twenty players, only Manish Pandey and Mayank Agarwal are Indians.
