A New Reality Show Inspired by James Bond, is in Making
Reportedly, the eight-episode series will consist of a team of two people who will come face-to-face in James Bond-esque racing events for a mammoth 1 million euros prize. The format will have tests linked to intelligence and endurance and will be happening infamous locations from Bond films. The show has been in production for four years and predates the ultimatum of Amazon MGM’s $8.5 billion deal. It is the first-ever James Bond spinoff reality program.
Meanwhile, a chapter wrapped up in the history of the James Bond franchise last year with No Time to Die. The long-anticipated film was the end of Daniel Craig’s span as Bond and was a success in both commercial and critical segments. Wilson and Broccoli should also be in the chase for the next actor to portray the coveted role.
The audience does know that the next Bond is going to be a British man and not a woman as many had anticipated. Broccoli made things clear in 2021 itself. She said:
I think it will be a man because I don’t think a woman should play James Bond. I believe in making characters for women and not just having women play men’s roles.
Speaking loud about this opinion, Broccoli even said about the lack of great roles for women and that they should make more movies about women. He should be British irrespective of ethnicity or race.
