In his fight against racism, Vinicius is not alone, and the football world has his back. Following the incident at Mestalla, the Brazilian has received various messages from his teammates and mates from other teams.
The world backs Vinicius in his fight against Racism
As Vinicius gets support from the football world in his fight against Racism, many non-footballers have expressed their support too for the Real Madrid forward.
“We are with you, bro.” It was one of the most common lines visible on social media among the posted messages in his support. His teammates, including Antonio Rudiger, Karim Benzema, Aurelian Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, Thibaut Courtois, and Fade Valverde, were the first to show their support for their teammates.
Dani Ceballos was the first Real Madrid player to comment in his post-match interview following a full-time.
“It is nothing new, as Vinicius has been shown a lack of disrespect at stadiums across Spain. We need to protect him. I hope LaLiga can protect Vinicius.”
Eder Militao took to Twitter to post a long message and discuss the issue.
“Today was another sad day here in Spain, another day that, unfortunately, the racists won.
It’s a shame! You suffer racism, you defend yourself, and then you’re sent off trying to defend yourself.
How long will we have to put up with this?”
Mbappe and Ronaldo’s support to Vinicius
Kylian Mbappe also showed his support for him as he wrote,
“You’re not alone. We are with you, and we support you.”
Brazilian legend Ronaldo Nazario wrote a message on Twitter too.
“Once again, an episode of racism in La Liga and again with Vinicius. Where will it stop? As long as there is impunity and connivance, there will be racism.
It is unacceptable that referees, the federation, and authorities are not taking action.
Vini, count on me in your fight.”
