English player Jesse Lingard was expected to leave his Premier League club Manchester United in the transfer window of January, however, the attacking midfielder has reportedly stayed at Old Trafford. At present, Lingard is enjoying a few days off, and as per sources, it is known that the club has advised him that he should take a break.
With this fact known that the club has sent Lingard on a break in this busy phase of the Premier League season, it has become a great sort of speculation that whether the Englishman will appear for the Red Devils again or not, and fans are very eager to know that what is going behind the scenes.
Lingard on Twitter
The 29-year-old footballer has stated on Twitter which hasn’t cleared the confusion among the fans but has aroused it more. He said that the club has advised him to have time off due to some personal reasons and he gave an exclamation mark at the end!
The exclamation at the end certainly hinted that everything is not going right and it addressed some of the rumors. He also said that –his headspace is clear though and he will always be professional when called upon and give his 100 percent.
The Winger for United
Jesse Lingard returned to Manchester United at the Old Trafford in the summer on a loan deal with West Ham. From then till now, he has accumulated 273 minutes for the Red Devils during the 2021/ 22 campaign. His contract with Man United is set to end at the end of the current season. So till then, it is to be seen if the Englishman makes any more appearances for the club or not, and also if he does, whether United gets eager to renew his contract or not.
