A stadium without an audience generally seems a bit boring, and without any rhythm. Hence, to form an atmosphere for the place, the organizers of the Tokyo Olympics have decided to add virtual fan walls to the stadiums during the games.
The Indian Premier League presented the same feature since the last year with fewer spectators fewer stadiums. Reports suggest that fans will get to see the Tokyo Olympics virtually via digital features. This includes video walls, cheer maps that will present the cheering by fans virtually around the world.

The Olympic Broadcast Service will produce the Olympic Games live signal which will use that digital feature of virtual fan walls in the empty stadiums. Olympic Broadcasting Services and International Broadcasting Committee have developed the features in partnership with the Olympic broadcasters.
