Reports state that La Liga Santander is the European competition that plays the least amount of football, coming to the average minutes where the ball is in the play. Coming to the statistical data, it was seen that barely 54.4% of football is played in Spain, and the most football is played in Germany which is 56.9%.

This stands for 60.45% of the match putting the club’s standings in the 8th position, and they have spent most minutes playing a football match. Second in Spain comes Barcelona spending only 55.02 minutes having 54th European ranking overall.

These figures state that the Spanish football clubs would be benefited from having more time per match with the ball in the field, as it increases the chances of the fluidity of a match.
