Suryakumar Yadav who has become one of the top batters of India right now scored his second T20I hundred in his second T20I match. He’s right now the No.1 batter of ICC, T20I format.
He has shown his worth in a concise time and fans want to know about his thought process more with each passing day. His great cricket shots and hard-hitting ability are praiseworthy. He’s been already considered India’s best batter in T20I in the shortest format by the fans. India’s run machine Virat Kohli dominated the T20 World Cup 2022 with his performance and scored 296 runs but nobody could ignore Suryakumar Yadav. He piled up 239 runs in just six innings for the men in blue.
Kohli has proved his worth since the beginning and it will be a little bit early to compare both of them. At the age of 34, Virat is one of the fittest cricketers in the world and even Yadav agrees with that. When he was asked who will win a 100m race between himself, Kolhi, and Hardik Pandya, his immediate response was “Virat Kohli”. He also expressed his joy in batting with Kohli.
“I enjoy batting with Virat Kohli a lot, we have lots of fun. Whenever I bat with Virat Kohli, I have to run a lot between the wickets because he is Super fit.”– he said
Further, he added that he would love to see Shreyas Talpade playing his role in a movie. Earlier, the actor played cricketer roles in films like Kaun Pravin Tambe (2022) and Iqbal (2005).
In T20I, Suryakumar Yadav has had a fantastic year. He has two international T20I centuries to his name. The first one was scored in July against England, while the most recent one was against New Zealand. The 32-year-old will end 2022 with 1164 T20I runs with a strike rate of 187.43 and an average of 46.56 in 31 games.
