Amplifying another cop drama to his credit list, Rohit Shetty has cast Sidharth Malhotra for his next project. Recently, the noted filmmaker took to his social handle to share a photo of the actor dressed up in the cop uniform, standing right in front of a line of police cars. This crop drama will hit the popular OTT platform, Amazon Prime.
Reports for a long time had been suggesting that the “Bollywood heartthrob” Sidharth Malhotra would feature in a Rohit Shetty-directed cop drama. Finally, the actor has come up with an official confirmation of the same.
Sidharth Malhotra Shares His First Look From Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe
Captioning the photo on his social handle, Rohit Shetty wrote,
The action begins tomorrow at 11:00 A.M.!
Anup Kher poured in support, commenting “Good luck, my friend!” Fans seemed way excited to know what was in the pile and filled the comment box with different supportive emojis like hearts and fire. Sidharth Malhotra took to his account to share his first look at the movie. He wrote,

Widely acclaimed for his brilliance in crafting the “cop universe”, fans can’t wait long to watch what this new venture brings in. The previous ones were Ajay Devgan’s Singham, Ranveer Singh’s Simba, and Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi. To this terrific list, another one gets added with the new show for Sidharth Malhotra.
The latest release, Sooryavanshi, was a massive success at the box office and earned huge crowd applause. Ajay Devgan and Ranveer Singh had also turned up in special cameos in the movie. Initially in a conversation, Ajay stated that they are set to get started working for Singham 3 very soon. Whether Sidharth Malhotra’s upcoming Amazon Prime project features cops from the previous editions is yet to be revealed.
