Bangladesh all-rounder superstar Shakib Al-Hasan regained his former position and came at the top spot in the ICC all-rounder rankings. The Bangladeshi all-rounder had a good start in the upcoming T20 WC and became the number 1 player in the MRF Tyres ICC men’s all-rounder rankings.
Also, on the other hand, Indian captain Virat Kohli has declined to the 5th spot in ICC Men’s rankings for batters. Though being ranked 5th among so many players is not a small thing, but the present Indian captain has set his standards very high, to consider his declining at 5th to be a little downfall.
Changes in rankings after the initial phase of the T20 WC!
These changes in rankings came in the initial phase of the T20 WC. Shakib with his good start climbed at the top, as his rating climbed to 20 points making it 295, getting past Mohammad Nabi who slipped from 285 to 275 points.
Also, on the other hand, Virat Kohli who played a good knock of 57 of 49 balls against their staunch rival Pakistan in their last match, despite that he loosed his spot and moved to the 5th position. However, these are also dependent on the strike rate a particular batsman plays, the consistency he shows, which is a factor here.
