If disfigured and twisted bodies in a strange and isolated world are your thing, then Ebb Software’s horror-survival game Scorn could be worth a look. The title was announced over five years ago by the Serbian developers, who released an announcement trailer that became one of the most talked-about topics in 2017. Since then, fans haven’t heard anything from Ebb Software regarding the game, until the game’s Steam listing leaked online earlier.
The title appeared at the 2022 edition of the Xbox Games Showcase when the developers showcased the horrific landscape that players would have to traverse in Scorn with its gameplay footage, only hours after the leak surfaced online.
Scorn’s environment is comprised of “odd forms and melancholy tapestry,” which will undoubtedly send shivers down the spines of gamers when the game launches on PC and Xbox on October 21, 2022.
Players will have to find their way out of the scary mess, which contains body parts, body horror, and bloodied hallways, so the nightmare environment will be an experience you don’t want to spend too much time in.
However, each of these areas has its own story, and players will learn more about the game’s regions as they make their way out of this hellhole. Players will have to tackle a variety of tasks and puzzles to escape. In addition, each new zone will unlock new talents, skills, and weaponry for players to utilize against lurking foes eager for blood.
