Ark 2 will be released in 2023 and will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one, according to the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase. Vin Diesel rode a tyrannosaurus, which is a string of words I never thought I’d have to type. Studio Wildcard is giving away the original Ark: Survival Evolved for free for a limited time to commemorate the announcement.
Ark, which was released in Early Access in 2015, has had a long and winding road. We all have looked into it at the time and have concluded that it appealed because it allows you to ride dinosaurs and make your character poop. Ark received improvements before leaving Early Access in 2017, including the addition of growable beards and then operational toilets, which took Chris four hours and a dozen dead sheep to get working. Since then, it’s been updated regularly.
The best mount in the game about riding dinosaurs was a damn frog, and also found time to sing the praises of its pickiest creature, a giant snail that eats only cake.
