SC East Bengal has currently set its focus on building its new team for the upcoming campaign. The club executed multiple transfer signings on the deadline day. They agreed with Shree Cements just a week before the transfer window closed.
New Signings by SC East Bengal
Subha Ghosh joined the red and gold brigade in this transfer. The footballer spent some time with the Kerala Blasters. The 20-year-old helped Mohun Bagan win the 2019-20 I-league, where he scored three goals.
Ghosh said in an interview that he knows how fans are passionate about East Bengal, and playing for them means a lot. He also added that he is excited to work with Robbie Flower, the legend.
S.Fernandes also joined the Bengal club in this transfer. The footballer spent four years with Goa FC. In this period, he and his club emerged victoriously in three championships including TACA Goa Championship, Goa Pro League, and Goa Police Cup.
He said that he is very much thrilled to join the red and gold brigade and it has been a dream come true moment for him. He added that he will try his best every day. Fernandez believes that he will grow in this club, as a footballer, on and off the field.
The Assolna-born footballer, Romeo also put a pen and a paper with SC East Bengal. The former FC Goa footballer was there with Goa in their maiden AFC Champions League campaign.
He stated that he is very much happy to get this opportunity to play for SC East Bengal. He has played for this club before and is aware of this environment. Romeo also said that it is a big challenge for him, and he is excited to take the field for his club.
