The Galaxy Watch 3 launch took place last year, and Samsung has been silent ever since. Suggesting from a report that the next Galaxy Watch might trench Samsung's own Tijen in favor of Google's Wear OS. It seems like this is really happening since we got the news that Samsung is fully ditching Tizen OS and the upcoming Galaxy Watch 4, will run the Wear OS and have a UIO on top of it.

Samsung finally ditches Tizen in favour of Wear OS

The report suggested that Samsung could work on at least 3 new smartwatches; One of them is offering a traditional themed design that will be on the side part of the dress, the other will become a more rigid or active model, if you may, and you will also have a sportier offering.
All new smartwatches are currently being made under the codenames Wise, Fresh and Lucky. The wise comes with a classy design, with a rotating bezel, and the other two models are going to be sportier variants. We are not sure if these three smartwatches will be part of or different from the Galaxy Watch 4 series.

This time, the biggest news is that Tizen will not be in any of these smartwatches as Samsung is replacing with Wear OS. However, this Wear OS will have Samsung's One UI 3.x on top; This could mean that Samsung is looking at One UI 3.x maintenance to run better on wearable devices.

All of this means that the Galaxy Watch 4 and its accompanying watch’s OS is going to be completely different. But the watches are going to be shipping with a familiar design.

Samsung is also said to be incorporating SmartThings features, and the entirety of the interface is going to receive an overhaul, as well.

Some of the features on your Galaxy 4 will include the ability to use it as a walkie-talkie, which enables users to send a voice message to their friend’s list. Apple Watch has the same features for some time now.
