The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is an enigma, well was, until now. The device was scheduled to launch earlier this year, but unfortunately, the device will not launch earlier than January 2022. This is rather disappointing as the Galaxy S21 FE and the Galaxy S22 have a gap of only one month between their releases which pretty much limits the impact that the former may be able to make.

Now, the Galaxy S21 FE sporting the Exynos 2100 chipset has been spotted on Geekbench, FrontTron managed to spot the device. The device scored 1,096 points in the single-core and 3,387 points in the multi-core score. While the numbers are not as good as the actual Exynos 2100, it is important to know that the device is not running the final version of the software, which can also negatively impact the chipset’s performance.

Scores aside, this version of the Galaxy S21 FE ships with 8GB RAM, with the model number SM-G990E. The Android version is not shown, but we assume that it is Android 11 OS based on One UI 3.1.

Given the history of the Galaxy S21 FE, it will be fascinating to see how Samsung handles the release, and more importantly, considering there is only one month gap between the flagship series and the S21 FE, we wonder what will Samsung’s pricing strategy be.

The questions are many, but we will have to stay curious until 2022 and wait for Samsung to unveil what it has in store for us.

We would love to know your thoughts, should Samsung have just done away with the Galaxy S21 FE? Let us know!
