Muhammed Gumuskaya of Fenerbahce SK tried to kiss his batch, after scoring a goal, in the Europa League. In celebration, he left searching for his club batch. However, the new design of the badges, signified he couldn’t kiss it.
The new third kits of Puma, have marked the club logo on the back portion of the shirt, and not in the front. This has led to tremendous confusion outside and inside the field. Manchester United with other ten European clubs will adopt this new Turkish outfit, designed by Puma. Clubs will wear this new dress, in the cup competitions this year.
Celebration of Gumuskaya failed!
Fenerbahce got the lead in the game. The goal came from the legs of Muhammed Gumuskaya. With scoring that goal, the striker wanted to celebrate by kissing the team badge, and that too in front of the supporters. However, the 20-year-old was not able to do the same, when he saw his team name, marked in front of his shirt.
The other European clubs to wear this design
Among the other clubs which will wear the new Puma design, are AC Milan, Valencia, and Marseille are also there to adopt this design. Among the others are Borussia Monchengladbach, Shakhtar Donestsk, Stade Rennais F.C., PSV Eindhoven, and Krasnodar.
Carl Tuffley in this regard
The Teamsport design manager senior head, Carl Tuffley said their objective was to go against the traditional design which is used in the football jerseys. He also added that it is primarily easy to be safe but they desire to change the perceptions of a football jersey, which is conventional. The third kit of Manchester City displayed a chance to be bold. And hence, our motive is to re-energize all these jerseys and take them in a new direction.
