Neymar has made a strange statement on Cristiano Ronaldo. The duo used to be rivals during their Barcelona and Real Madrid days, but now Neymar has publicly stated that he wants to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Brazilian has already played with Lionel Messi at Barcelona and has many beautiful memories at Camp Nou. The 29-year-old is currently playing with another upcoming superstar Kylian Mbappe at PSG. So, now Neymar wants to play with Ronaldo next.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus future is also up in the air. They face tough competition to even qualify for the Champions League and have already lost the league to Inter Milan. If Juventus fail to qualify for the UCL, it would be interesting to see if Ronaldo moves to another club to play in the UCL or fight it out in the Europa League with Juventus.
So, if Ronaldo decides to leave Turin, PSG can be one of his options as they are still on the hunt for their first Champions League trophy even with Neymar, Mbappe and Di Maria on their team. Adding Ronaldo to the attack will give them a better chance to fight for the UCL.
Neymar told GQ France: “I want to play with Cristiano Ronaldo. I’ve already played with great players like Messi and [Kylian] Mbappe, but I haven’t played with Cristiano Ronaldo yet.”
He further added: “I want to win the World Cup. This has always been my biggest dream, but I also want to win everything with PSG.”
“I’m almost 30 now and I’ve had a good career on a personal level.”
