According to the sources, Liverpool is to land a huge bonus on the transfer agreement of Coutinho. The Premier League club, is expected to land a massive bonus of 17.1 million euros from Barcelona considering Philippe Coutinho’s transfer agreement. The Brazilian midfielder had a great time at Anfield before shifting to Camp Nou in 2018.
The move happened for a price that could rise to a spectacular figure of 121.5 million euros. As a part of the contract, the English club might be soon getting a bonus of 17.1 million euros as Countinho is about to make his 100 appearances for Barcelona. He has made a total of 90 appearances so far for the club.
Coutinho was Loaned at Bayern Munich
The Brazilian star moved to Barcelona back in January 2018 at a high price. In his debut season with the club where he made 18 league appearances, he scored 7 excellent goals alongside 6 quality assists. However, the following season didn’t go well where he had only 11 scores in 54 overall appearances. He was loaned to Bayern Munich in between where he had a mixed time.
Before returning to Barca, he played 38 games for the German club. In the 2019/2020 Champions League season, he scored two goals against Barcelona where the latter smashed an 8-2 victory over his parent club. After Bayern Munich decided not to move forward with Countinho as a permanent player, he headed back to Barcelona.
He made 100 Appearances for Barca
After returning to his parent club, the star midfielder didn’t have a nice time. A critical knee injury even reduced the game time at Barca. However, the positive thing is that the player is fully fit now for this season. Fans can soon expect to see their favorite player making his 100th appearance for the club.
