Lionel Messi said in this regard that it is everyone’s dream to win the Champions League. He also added that the club has been focusing on this for years, and has come too close to it a bit lately. From his personal point of view, he would love to win the UCL again, which he once did for Barcelona.
It is arguably the best football competition as the top football clubs compete here making it difficult to win but he thinks that this group of players can achieve the same.

At present, Lionel Messi has gone without lifting the Champions League trophy for seven seasons, and his nightmare started from the 2015/16 season when they got knocked out by Athletico Madrid in the quarterfinals.
Messi said in this regard that back in November when it was his initial phase on joining PSG, everyone told him that they were the favorites. He won’t deny that they were among the strong contenders, but they still need to work harder to get what they want, he added.
