Former Walt Disney executives believe that Johnny Depp could return to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise after winning a defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard.
Depp, who has been involved in a high-intensity trial over the past six weeks, issued a statement following the victory.
The actor stated “the jury gave me my life back” and that “the best is still to come”.

The actor is expected to take a break after a fierce trial, but after the previous five films have been released, he can return to another Pirates of the Caribbean film.

He was nominated for an Oscar for appearing in the 2003 original movie “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl”. The sequel to the hit was released in 2006, 2007, 2011, and 2017.
The Five films in the Pirates of the Caribbean series generated $ 4.7 billion in revenue by 2022.
During the trial, Heard’s article alleged that Depp cost millions of dollars just because he had to stop playing Jack Sparrow.
