    Gossip Girl is a teen drama-based American upcoming web series. It is based on the novel series Gossip Girl written by Cecily Von Ziegesar. It was firstly released on 19th September 2007. It includes 6 seasons with 121 episodes. The last release was made on 17th December 2012 on HBO Max.

    Nearly after a decade, a new sequel of Gossip Girl is going to release this year. This series is developed by Joshua Safran. It is produced by Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage, Joshua Safran, Leslie Morgenstein, and Gina Girolamo and its production company is Warner Bros. Television Studios, Fake Empire Productions, Alloy Entertainment, Random Acts Productions, and CBS Studios.

    This series shows us how much social media and the landscape of New York City have changed in the intervening years. In this series, we will see some adult content. It will also show some more diversity with non-white leads and LGBT characters. It is the continuation of the original series, the series is set in the same world where previous characters existed and can easily be reappeared but in this sequel, it is a story with new characters from a different point of view.

    Release Date

    Gossip Girl is going to be released on 8th July 2021 on HBO Max. It was heard that it will be having 10 episodes. According to Deadline, HBO has ordered 10 hour-long episodes of the new version of the show. It’ll tackle contemporary issues, including social media and online privacy, that has changed some of the dynamics in today’s high.
