Last summer Dutch star footballer Georginio Winjnaldum moved to the Ligue 1 giants PSG. However things didn’t go well as the Dutchman expected and as per sources, the 31-year-old is looking forward to making his return to the Premier League in the upcoming transfer window in January.
The Dutchman parted ways with the Premier League giants Liverpool in July as he decided not to renew his contract with the Reds and joined the French capitals then. Since then, Wijnaldum is trying to establish himself for Paris Saint Germain, as he couldn’t start for the team in the initial phases of the match. Hence, he is likely to leave the French capital and come back to his former league, where he used to play.
Georginio Wijnaldum in this regard
In October, Wijnaldum stated that he was not content in his present club, however, he is determined to strike back, perform efficiently to earn more playing time for the club. He said that he can’t say that he is completely happy because the situation is exactly not what he wanted.
He stated himself as a fighter and said that he has to stay positive and work hard until it gets in his hand and has to learn how to deal with this. Wijnaldum also added that he has played much in recent years, and has always been fit hence the present situation is a bit different for him.
Where would he go?
It is now a great matter of speculation that where would Georginio Wijnaldum go if he returns to the Premier League. Most probably it would be Newcastle who could invest in a player and has the financial capacity to do so. However, nothing has been finalized yet. It is to be seen where the Dutchman goes.
