    Gary Hoffman has quit, confirms Premier League!

    The Premier League management has confirmed that the present chairman of the tournament, Gary Hoffman will leave his post at the end of January. EPL thanked Hoffman for his committed service while disclosing the news of his departure which comes amid controversy formed by the 305 million dollars Newcastle takeover that was completed in October.

    Hoffman in this regard said that it has been a privilege to lead one of the greatest football leagues of the world, the Premier League through the last two seasons, even when the spirit of English football has been more essential than it ever was. At present, he has decided to be the right time for him to stand aside allowing new leadership to help steer the league via its next exciting phase.

    Gary Hoffman as the Chairman of Premier League

    Gary Hoffman gave his service as the chairman of the Premier League for 18 months, nearly 1.5 years. Sources from Sportsmail revealed that in October, Burnley owner Alan Pace expressed no confidence in the leadership of Hoffman at a meeting of emergency shareholders on October 19. The other Premier League clubs were also unhappy with the handling of this matter.

    Another meeting also took place in early November without the PL clubs demanding a vote of no confidence in the Chairman, eventually, he felt a lack of support from the majority of the sides.
