Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Launches Globally (Except Asia)

Netmarble has officially launched Game of Thrones: Kingsroad globally on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Windows Launcher, as well as on Android and iOS devices. However, the game is slated for an Asian release at the end of 2025. Originally released in early access initially for PC only, this action-adventure RPG, which is built with Unreal Engine 5, now offers cross-play between PC and mobile, as long as you connect your account.

For the full version, there is a big update with the Stormlands, the region that belongs to Stannis Baratheon. These new region comes with their own brand-new story missions, and side content which includes ferocious beasts, Bandit Camps, Echoes of the Past, Historic Sites, Occupied Sites, and Gods Haven. The level cap is now 45, and you’re able to earn 4 new Artifacts—1 Legendary, 1 Epic, and 2 Uncommon.

On top of that, achievements linked to the Stormlands have been included, such as tasks to kill the Unicorn and Drogon. A new emote system has also been implemented, accessible via the emotes icon in the chat interface. To commemorate the launch, Netmarble is running a promotional event through June 5, offering players a random reward each day. These daily gifts, available through the Web Shop, may include items such as 80 Golden Dragon, a Ruin Runner, 2,000 Copper, 10 Iron Ore, an Artifact Expedition Requisition, three Silver Ore, or an Enraging Draught Bundle.

Netmarble has indicated long-term plans to expand the game by introducing all regions of Westeros, though this will depend heavily on the title’s performance. As a live-service game, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will only continue to grow if it secures a strong and sustained player base. If it fails to maintain popularity, those expansion plans may never materialize.
