Epic will unvault a fan-favorite weapon, Star Wars lightsabers, according to well-known Fortnite leaker Shiina. Shiina expressed her faith in the announcement, adding that Epic will re-release the lightsabers on May 3rd, 2022.
The information in this leak corresponds to the last time Epic revealed the lightsabers in Fortnite. Before this, players could only utilize lightsabers from May 2nd to May 5th, 2020, as part of Chapter 2, Season 2’s Star Wars Day celebrations. The scheduled 20.30 patch tomorrow appears to be on track to bring back lightsabers just in time for the popular fandom holiday.
Rey’s (Blue), Kylo Ren’s (Red), Luke Skywalker’s (Green), and Mace Windu’s (Purple) lightsabers are the four different variations in Fortnite. Despite their differences in appearance, all four weapons have the identical ability to stop bullets and stats.
On December 13th, 2019, lightsabers were originally added to Fortnite at a live event named “Live At Risky Reels Event” during Chapter 2, Season 1. This live event was held to promote the new Star Wars film The Rise of Skywalker, and after it, players were allowed to vote on which lightsabers should be included in the game.
