Srikant Tiwari, as Manoj Bajpayee, leads the team to stop the Tamil rebels and saved the people at the PM’s meeting and thwart the plane attack. After this incident, they lose many of their team members, it includes major characters like Raji, Selvan, and many others. While everyone expressing their sorrows and griefs and other comrades were recovering, they are rewarded by PM, who is grateful to them for saving his life.
Then the scene cuts to real events of the COVID-19 pandemic and an unknown man messaging someone in the Chinese language. And both of them planned to make this pandemic a weapon to distract the nation while they concentrate on their darker and bigger plans.

At the end of Season 2, we see a person communicating with his senior who has approvals from the LZs from central command about the “Project Guan Yu”. We don’t really know what that project means, but they have already embedded the phoenixes in Nagaland, and in about 2 days time, it will also be done in Arunachal Pradesh. The senior person finally gives a go for the “Project Guan Yu”, and the final episode finishes. So the last clip gives a major hint about Season 3 as “Project Guan Yu” will become the main focus.
The filming of season 3 will take place most probably in Nagaland. A source close to the development told PinkVilla “Raj and DK – decided to take the franchise forward by setting it in the Covid times. Season 3 puts TASC against the enemies from China in the times when the entire world is fighting an invisible enemy in the form of this virus,”.
In season 3, it is predicted that Srikant will be facing new challenges not only in the professional field but also in his domestic affairs that his family could fall apart, depending on what his wife Suchi tells, and how he will react and handle it.
Should the on-screen couple decide to continue their counselling, Report Door say they will have to find a “different counsellor” as Asif Basra, who played the counsellor in season 2, will be unable to reprise his role after his passing in November 2020.
For season 3, we can expect many more new faces as most of the main characters died in season 2. But still, no confirmation has been made that whether there will be any new faces as cast or not.
