is on top among the European clubs in spending in the ongoing summer transfer windows. The world’s most popular football league clubs have already spent more than €761 million.
Meanwhile, Italian Serie A is in the second position in this list by spending more than €355 million. German Bundesliga (€283 million), French Ligue 1 (€204 million) and Spanish La Liga (€151 million) are in the third, fourth and fifth positions respectively in the list of most spending this summer transfer period.

European clubs which are spending most
The six-time Premier League winners Manchester City, who have won the last two Premier League titles, are on top of spending among the European clubs in this summer transfer window. City have already spent around €108.75 million in the ongoing transfer window.
In the meantime, the Premier League clubs Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, the two London rivals, are in the second and third positions respectively in this list. While Arsenal have spent €97.06 million, Spurs have already paid out €87.20 million.
Among the Spanish clubs, unsurprisingly Real Madrid are on top of the spending list this summer with €80 million. German club Borussia Dortmund are ahead of Real Madrid as the BVB are leading the German clubs’ list by spending €86 million.
French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain (€79.50 million) and Italian Serie A club Atalanta (€63 million) are leading their respective countries’ lists in spending in the ongoing summer transfer windows.
