Euphoria has emerged out to be one of the most successful series in recent years. After the first season, the fans have been eagerly waiting for the next one and finally, season 2 is set to be launched. It has been almost two and a half years since the first premiere and HBO finally draws a period to the wait for the exclusive new episodes Emmy-winning TV show.
Euphoria Season 2: Release Date
The Sam Levinson creation is already set with an official release date for the upcoming season. The same is on January 9th, 2022, Sunday. The series had its last episode aired on HBO back in 2019 August, on the 4th.
For Euphoria season 2, only the first episode will be available on 9th January. The next episodes will be streamed live on HBO or HBO Max Pro sharp at 9 p.m. ET every Sunday. The series will have a total of eight episodes.

The trailer of Euphoria season 2 gives a clear glimpse of the season plot. However, it would still be easier for fans to recognize it. The upcoming part will feature more high school activities and some of the lead characters get involved in a drug trafficking issue.
Euphoria Season 2: Plot
The story is set in the town of East Highland, amidst the intertwining lives. According to the Euphoria season 2 synopsis, 17-year old Rue must discover hope, while simultaneously balancing the pressures of love, loss and addiction.
In the previous season, Rue was back home from rehab. She met Jules, a new girl in school and fell in love. However, things start to take a turn after Jules confesses her feelings for someone else. Despite proposing to Jule to run away to the city, in the end Rue decides not to fall apart from her mother and sister. However, this decision leads her to fall back into drugs.
Euphoria Season 2: The Cast
The star cast features Zendaya, the youngest Emmy winner for her exceptional role in the lead as Rue, in the popular drama series. She is also popular among fans for her iconic role as MJ in Marvel/Sony’s Spider-Man Saga.
The cast further includes Hunter Schafer as Jules, Jacob Elordi as Nate, Sydney Sweeney as Cassie, Maude Apatow as Laxi, Barbie Ferreira as Kat, Alexa Demie as Maddy, Javon Walton as Ashtray, Nika King as Leslie, Angus Cloud as Fezco, Algee Smith as Chris, Storm Reid as Gia and Austin Abrams as Ethan.
