DC’s top order has been one of the major factors behind the team winning matches this season. However, in this match, both Warner got out soon, and Mitchell Marsh coming to bat at number 3 wasn’t able to deliver for long as well. Prithvi Shaw returning to the team also didn’t stand for long. In the middle order, skipper Rishabh Pant’s 39 of 33, Powell’s 43 of 34, as well as Axar’s 19 of 10 helped Deli reach a total of 159.

Mumbai Indians has been knocked out of the tournament a long time ago, but the fight for respect was still there. And they maintained their respect perfectly fine, by registering the victory on a high note.
