The Portuguese legend as well as the star player of Juventus FC is eager to make his return to his former club, Real Madrid. CR7 is looking forward to doing this in the ongoing summer only. However, reports suggest that this move of Cristiano Ronaldo depends on Kylian Mbappe to some extent.
Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus
The captain of the Portugal national team left Santiago Bernabeu in 2018 and joined the Serie A giants. However, neither of the party including Ronaldo or Juventus got any huge benefits from this transfer.
Ronaldo went to Juventus with the dream to conquer the Champions League with the club. However, the club failed to do the same in all three seasons, with the 36-year-old striker present in the team. In the last season, they ended their season with a defeat against their all-time rivals, Inter Milan.
Concerning this, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is eager to break the bond with his present club and is seeking a new campaign.
Mbappe’s role in this
Mbappe could unintentionally spoil Ronaldo’s plan of coming back to Real. The president of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez, is looking forward go one with a good deal with the Frenchman. On the other hand, Mbappe has already turned down several attempts of his present club PSG, who tried to extend his contract. Also, Mbappe’s deal might get over with PSG next summer.
Concerning the situation, Perez is trying to make his move for Mbappe. And if this happens, Ronaldo’s hope for coming back to Real will be closed. However, Carlo Ancelotti has shown hope to the Portuguese that the deal may be executed by the end of this summer.
Ronaldo and Carlo Ancelotti are a memorable pair of Real Madrid CF, and they worked together during the two years of the first reign of Ancelotti at the club.
