Casemiro joined Manchester United from Real Madrid in the summer for a whopping €70m from Spain. Since he stepped into his new team, he has been an asset to the squad. Erik ten Hag described him as “the cement between the stones.”

The star midfielder has added the much-required strength in the middle, which has helped them emerge as a more robust unit.

    Casemiro’s three crucial demands

Reports suggest United was plotting a secret plan regarding his love for the representatives. The Brazilian 30-year-old had three significant requests presented to John Murtough

    To quote Samuel Luckhusrt,

“As conversations with Casemiro progressed, he told the United football director John Murtough he only wanted to know three things: where he lived, where he trained, and where he played. The personable video-calling method emboldened Casemiro to request a video of the gym at United’s Carrington training complex. So a united staff member was sent through the labyrinthine corridors of the main building and downstairs to comprehensively capture the vast gym on film.”

Reports further say that the gym environment was crucial for the Brazilian as United got to know from the contacts at Real Madrid that it wasn’t usual to see Casemiro lifting weights in the early morning, around 8 am.

    Authority in the dressing room

Casemiro is known to give instructions to Lisandro Martinez and Marcus Rashford. His quiet authority in the dressing room is visible. For the former, the midfielder suggested stopping playing out from the back in a tough win of 1-0 against Southampton. He also discussed with  Rashford about him running into blind alleys and traffic dribbling.

Other than the United, fans are happy to see Casemiro firing on the world stage. His recent performance against Switzerland was phenomenal in helping his team advance toward the round of 16.
