British series Guilt is all set to have its adaptation in Hindi for Indian viewers. The series will be produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India. The series will be going to be directed by Shaad Ali. The title of the series has not been fixed till now. Jaideep Ahlawat and Zeeshan Ayyub will be seen playing the lead roles.
Short glimpse about the Indian version of Guilt
Jaideep Ahlawat, the Pataal Lok lead role player along with Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub will be playing the role of two brothers named Jaggi and Daljeet in the remake version of Hindi. In this series we will get to see that the elder brother Jaggi enjoys the comfort of a wealthy and seemingly perfect life, while the younger one, Daljeet struggles to survive running a vintage book shop cum cafe. Then there comes a tragic incident in the series, which turn their lives upside down and makes them doubt each other.
Cast
The Hindi remake version of British series Guilt stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Zeeshan Ayyub. They will be playing the lead roles. Apart from them, the cast also includes Tina Desai, Shruti Seth, Maya Alagh, Mugdha Godse, and Satish Kaushik, among others.
Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub was last seen in Amazon Prime Video’s Tandav. In the series, he played a college activist, Shiva Shekhar. On the other hand, Jaideep Ahlawat was recently seen in Ajeeb Daastaans and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.
Short outlook about the British series Guilt
The British series Guilt was directed by Robert McKillop and Patrick Harkins, and written by Neil Forsyth, Guilt was created and produced by Happy Tramp North and Expectation for BBC Scotland and BBC Two. The series was set in Edinburgh, the mini-series revolved around two estranged brothers (played by Mark Bonnar and Jamie Sives) thrown together by tragedy and united by guilt.
