Bharti Airtel is one of the largest internet service providers in the country. Telecom companies can benefit a lot from the withdrawal of Vodafone Idea. Moreover even if Vi stays in the market with the help of the government’s aid package, it can also get a lot of benefits.
Bharti Airtel
Bharti Airtel, the second largest telecommunications operator, may make huge profits due to the expected bankruptcy of Vodafone Idea. Brokerage firm Credit Suisse stated that Airtel’s share price may rise 62% in the short term. This is due to Vodafone Idea (Vi) financial problems. The brokerage said that no matter what relief measures the government takes, Vi’s financial situation is unlikely to improve. This will promote the growth of Bharti Airtel.
Credit Suisse set a price target of Rs 775 for Bharti Airtel, and its biggest competitor, Reliance Jio, set a price target of Rs 2020. As for Vodafone Idea, the brokerage has set a target of Rs 6.
Bharti Airtel shares can benefit from Vi account. According to Credit Suisse, if there are only two private operators (Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio), Airtel’s subscriber market share can increase to 40% per user. Average earnings (ARPU) can rise to Rs 200, which can drive the share price of the telco to Rs 1,010.
The brokerage company posted a “good morning in the future” poster about the future of the share price of the telecommunications company. No matter what happens, be it a two-person market or a three-person market with relief measures, Airtel will definitely grow. In addition, Airtel will also benefit from the industry’s next assistance program.
Considering all this, it is safe to say that Bharti Airtel’s share price will definitely rise in the short term. Please note that this is not investment advice, nor is it an endorsement of stocks. Before investing in stocks, you must conduct due diligence. The brokerage said that if the government controls Vodafone Idea, Airtel’s share price may touch 840 rupees. Moreover, with two players in the market, Reliance Industries can also grow by 10%.
