A new update is releasing really soon for Battlegrounds Mobile India, with the developers finally revealing the official release date and time for the 3.6 version update. With tons of new features, a new theme, and gameplay improvements on the way, it’s sure to be an update full of new content for players.
BGMI 3.6 Update: New Powers, Floating Islands, and Exciting Features Coming Soon
The BGMI 3.6 update is set to launch on January 16, 2025. Following the timing of previous updates, the Android version is expected to be available between 6:30 AM and 11:30 AM, while the iOS version will drop at 8:30 AM. The 3.6 update introduces several exciting new features, including fresh powers and gameplay modes. The modes mirror the popular Mirror World and Runic Power gameplay while floating islands and new powers add an element of interest.
The update also adds a visually striking new element to the map: floating islands featuring Chinese-style temples, which players can traverse while in battle. It will also include two new achievements. The first is the “Guardian United,” an endeavor through trials with a point-based system, 30-70 based on your performance in the trials as we have seen in previous Dragon Ball and Trident trials. The second, “Power Usage Achievement,” is less of a challenge, earning the more casual player 30 points for simply utilizing the new powers.
Another new title, “Last Stand,” can be earned by completing certain tasks in the Metro Royale mode. In addition, players can now receive a mythic animated avatar frame for their profile if they achieve the “Ultimate Legend” rank in Royale mode — premium animations. The update will include visual and gameplay upgrades as well.
Added better pre-game spawn island animations and a visually pleasing plane animation. With floating islands, themed elements inspired by Mirror World, and movement speeds that are fast, players can expect dynamic gameplay. Overall, the BGMI 3.6 update is set to redefine the battle experience, offering fresh features and visual upgrades for an enhanced gaming experience.
