In recent news, it was revealed that the visual update for LeBlanc, combined with possible changes to her gameplay will be on its way soon to be in line with the “Welcome to Noxus” theme.
Though each Act will focus on a certain region or concept, Riot Athelas explained that not all characters from a region will appear. The ambition is to focus on quality instead of quantity — a direct reaction to viewer feedback from Arcane, the smash hit Netflix animated series. Moreover, future Acts will not all be exclusive to Runeterra. Riot teased that in future seasons, they might discover new worlds, like Star Guardians or Bee-themed universes.
This shift in approach aims to ensure League of Legends stays exciting and engaging. “Welcome to Noxus” will run until March 5, 2025, after which Act 2 will begin. Players will need to wait until closer to the end of April 2025 to learn the theme for the next Season.
