Bayern Munich emerged victoriously against Borussia Dortmund, in the German Super Cup final, on Tuesday, at Westfalenstadion. Robert Lewandowski showed his remarkable performance by scoring twice for his club. The man has been in remarkable form, since his last Bundesliga season, where he scored 41 goals.

Bayern Munich showed a team game on the Super cup final, and as a consequence, it became fruitful. Every member of the team played an essential role in the match. Manuel Neuer, the Bayern keeper, performed two great saves, of the shots of Erling Haaland and Marco Reus. This was when the score was 0-0, and Neuer prevented Dortmund from getting a lead.

The score was 2-1. And then, the man in form, Robert Lewandowski scored his second of the match in the 74th minute, giving Bayern a 2 goals lead again.

Though both the teams did well, Munich succeeded finally. Erling Haaland scored a goal in the 53rd minute, but that eventually got ruled out being offside. With this victory of Bayern, on Tuesday, over Borussia Dortmund, they achieved the first trophy of the season.
