Over the years Asus has been following a strict schedule, for launching their smartphones. They have the Zenfone series, which offers flagship models, and the ROG Phone series which caters to gamers with high-end specifications and larger screens. People are eagerly awaiting the release of the Zenfone 11 which might introduce a bigger screen variant alongside its flagship lineup.
The Upcoming Asus Zenfone 11
Recently a leak discovered by a Reddit user named Td3v1l has given us a sneak peek at the Zenfone 11 Ultra through some renders. These include images of its packaging and a detailed specification sheet. As suggested by its name this model will be a version of the Zenfone 11 and will have a design that closely resembles that of the ROG 8 Pro. It seems Asus is looking to expand its customer base by offering the Zenfone 11 Ultra with a design compared to the niche appeal of its ROG Phone 8 series.
The accompanying specification sheet confirms that most of the specifications of the Zenfone 11 Ultra will be similar to those found in the ROG Phone 8/8 Pro models. However, there will be a lower screen rate of 144Hz instead of the ROG Phone’s 165Hz. It will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with a combination of 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and a spacious storage capacity of, up to 512 GB UFS 4.0.
The device will come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPO screen, which has a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. It also includes a cutout, on the display that houses a facing camera with 32 megapixels.
The leaked specifications also outline the same camera setup found in the ROG Phone 8 series, comprising a 50MP main IMX890 sensor, a 32MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 13MP ultrawide lens. The battery capacity is listed at 5,500 mAh and will support 65W wired charging along with 15W wireless charging capabilities. The Zenfone 11 Ultra will be offered in various colors, including Eternal Black, Skyline Blue, Misty Gray, Verdure Green, and Desert Sienna.
