The 28-year-old Italian centre-forward Andrea Belotti is now officially a free agent after his end of the contract with his native Serie A club Torino.

Andrea Belotti was a legendary footballer for Torino in their seven years relationship. Belotti joined Torino in August 2015 after leaving another Italian Serie A club Palermo. In his 251 appearances for Il Toro, Belotti scored 113 goals and 28 assists. He is one of the top 10 most goal-scorers in this club’s all-time history.
Most importantly, Belotti finished as the top scorer of the club in six out of seven seasons for Il Toro. Only in the 2017/18 season, the centre-forward was their second most goal-scorer with 13 goals as the Spanish forward Iago Falque managed to score one more goal in that season (14 goals).
After serving for the various age group of the Italy national football teams, Belotti made his senior international debut in September 2016, when he was a strong player for the Maroons. He has already played 44 games for the senior national team with 12 goals and seven assists.

Belotti’s intention to leave Il Toro was cleared in late 2021. Through their official website, Torino has confirmed Belotti’s leaving the club as a free agent. The Italian footballer will decide on his future club soon. Surely, he is going to be a key target for many top clubs due to his consistent performances in the Maroons.
There is no strong report yet about the clubs’ serious interest in Belotti. The Daily Mail recently reported that the English Premier League club Everton could see Belotti as an option in this summer transfer window. There are also several media rumours of other PL clubs’ targets on Belotti. Earlier, there were some rumours of Italian Serie A clubs Inter and Roma’s interests in Belotti.
In his club career, Belotti has never played for a foreign club yet.
