CoD: Warzone on mobile was unveiled by Activision on Thursday. The game intends to give gamers a AAA gaming experience on mobile platforms, with dynamic and large-scale conflicts between players. Even though it is a transfer of an existing game, Activision is creating the game from the ground up rather than simply porting it to mobile platforms. As a result, it may take some time to complete.

The company is also asking for developers to work on the game, indicating that it is still in the early stages of development. Programmers, producers, product managers, and UI artists are among the current employment openings. New hires will work for Solid State Studios, Beenox, Digital Legends, and Demonware depending on the position they’re filling.

Activision hasn’t said whether or not the game would be cross-platform. Some games, such as Fortnite, allow players to play with one another on their mobile devices, PCs, and consoles. However, some recent concerns have surfaced that PC cheating has destroyed cross-platform gaming for some.

When we consider the success of the first CoD: Mobile, the choice to bring Warzone to tablets and phones isn’t surprising. In its first week, that game was downloaded 100 million times, making it the most successful mobile game launch in history. Furthermore, time, the company behind Call of Duty: Mobile, is said to have produced $10 billion in sales in 2020.

Apex Legends, Valorant, and Battlefield are all headed to the same market as the new Call of Duty entry. The new games will compete with games like PUBG: Mobile and Garena Free Fire, two of the most popular mobile games.
