New operators are rumored to be arriving to Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard in Season 2, and they’ve leaked ahead of time. According to social media leaks, the new operators’ names are Anna, Gustavo, and Thomas (via VGC).

Below are some hazy photographs of the alleged new DLC characters. As is customary, the new characters will most likely be available as part of Season 2’s new battle pass. If history is any guide, Season 2 will have new maps, weapons, and equipment, as well as other exciting additions.

“We feel your frustrations and hear you loud and clear,” Activision said. “To date, we’ve deployed some updates, but more needs to be done. Upcoming implementations will address several concerns raised by the community and other quality-of-life improvements. Adjusting the core gameplay loop, mechanics, and balance is a continuing and important focus. Fixes will apply to your platform of choice–two generations of consoles and PC–as well as gameplay in general across all five systems.”

Season 2 was supposed to premiere on February 2, but Activision pushed it back to February 14. Vanguard, Warzone Pacific, Black Ops Cold War, and Modern Warfare 2019 will all receive more upgrades and improvements as a result of the extra production time, according to Activision.

Microsoft is in the process of acquiring Activision, but the deal isn’t expected to close until later this year at the earliest. It’s unclear whether Call of Duty will become an Xbox-exclusive franchise in the future, although Xbox’s Phil Spencer recently stated that Call of Duty will continue on PlayStation.
