Jadeja has beaten R Ashwin and Jason Holder and became the number 1 all-rounder in test cricket. Holder holds the second spot and Ashwin is at the third position.
Jadeja scored 175 runs remaining unbeaten in the first innings and helped India reach 574/8. Later. in Sri Lanka’s first innings, he picked up 5 wickets.

Jadeja’s teammate Virat Kohli also jumped ahead of Travis Head and Rohit Sharma in the category of top five of Men’s Batting. On the other hand, Rishabh Pant’s 96 helps him move to the top ten of Men’s Batting.
