Prabhas is ready to turn up on the big screen with his spectacular new project Radhe Shyam starring beside Pooja Hedge. The Radha Krishna-directed project reportedly scaled on a budget of Rs. 400 crores. Initially, this week, the actor was in Mumbai to promote his upcoming film, where he opened up about acting in a romantic film after a long time. His last two big-screen releases were Sujeeth’s Sahoo and SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali series.
His Upcoming Projects
The actor has got some big-budget actioners coming up. They include Nag Ashwin’s scientific thriller project K with Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan and Om Raut’s Adipurush, a mythological movie based on the legendary epic Ramayana starring beside Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan.
The Bahubali fame superstar said that the films he’s doing Adi Purush and Nag Ashwin’s films are the biggest action movies. He even added, after every two or three films he loves doing something different. In Telugu also he used to be an action hero in the beginning, but then he acted in two romantic movies Darling and Mr. Perfect, both of which were big hits. Prabhas said he doesn’t want the audience to be bored of him and that’s why he’s fond of experimenting.
Prabhas on Need for Pan India Movies
Along with SS Rajamouli, Prabhas set up two pan India movies that include the Bahubali series. Speaking about the culture of pan-India films and its importance for all the film industries in the country, Prabhas remarked that Hollywood has one language in which movies are developed and the case is the same with Chinese and Korean films.
But in India, several films are made in different languages. He further added with movies like Radhe Shyam, RRR, or Bahubali that opened many doors, the experiment in films has been phenomenal to reach the Indian audience. Prabhas further stated that in the next five years it will be the biggest industry in the world. Prabhas added that it’s high time to make more Indian films as one country.
