Cricket fans saw a breathtaking showdown between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium. CSK defeated KKR who has been in marvelous form, in the second phase of the Indian Premier League, and it seemed like two of the best teams are handling the business between them. The decider of the match went to the last ball, and in the end, the yellow army got the victory crown.
The match
Two of the biggest franchise of IPL, CSK, and KKR locked horns on Sunday and there has been a long rivalry between the two. In this match the battle throughout the game was going 50-50 at last a team emerged victoriously, considering the rule of the game that anyone has to win.
KKR won the toss and batted first scoring a total of 171 for the loss of 6 wickets. In today’s t20 matches the score is considered to be fine. But also seeing the big ground of Abu Dhabi, it seemed like KKR would chase down the total. Also in the last half of the match, KKR had total control over the situation. But Sir Ravindra Jadeja came out and once again proved that why he is an important member of the team. He scored 22 of 8 and brought the required run-rate down.
Though victory didn’t come to CSK with ease. While the game was going out of their hand, and Jadeja made it easy, and in the last over only 4 runs were needed. The magician Sunil Narine came to bowl. When everyone thought that Narine has nothing left in his bowling art, he once again proved to himself why he hasn’t lost anything.

He showed his class and bowled the first ball dismissing Sam Curran in long-off by a catch-out. Next, he bowled Shardul Thakur who was in the strike but couldn’t deliver a scoring shot. In the third ball, they managed to play the ball behind the wicketkeeper, and they got three runs. When it was only 1 needed off three balls and Jadeja came to strike, he delivered a dot ball again. And in the next ball only, he dismissed the dangerous Jadeja by an LBW. Though at last when it was 1 of 1 needed Deepak Chahar played a scoring short and led his team to victory.
