India is said to don Pakistan’s name on their jerseys during Asia Cup 2023 event. This will be for the first time that the nation will sport their bitter rivals’ name in cricket. Pakistan, who are co-hosts for the Continental Cup along with Sri Lanka, will kick off the Asia Cup 2023 tournament by playing against Nepal on August 30. India, who had earlier mentioned their reluctance to travel to Pakistan, will play all their matches in Sri Lanka. However, since Pakistan is primary host, India will have the country names on the jerseys.
Above the Asia Cup logo the name of Pakistan will be displayed. The Men in Blues will lock horns with their arch rivals on September 2. It is indeed expected to become a blockbuster which will be played in Kandy, and the crowd is also expected to become houseful.
