According to Xiaomi, two new categories of electronics will soon be available in India. While new to this country, the intriguingly called Notebook Pro X 120G will be a part of a “series” of 4K smart TVs that may be re-branded versions of items previously available in China. Prospective customers are unlikely to worry that much, though, given the bezels and specifications as they have been described or alluded to so far.
Xiaomi India has asked its audience to take in a “New View” using a piece of possible high-end gear at an upcoming event. The Notebook Pro X 120G and the Smart TV X series appear to be the two key products that will be introduced during this future launch.
Xiaomi has a laptop with a very similar name that was introduced in China, but there is no assurance that this RTX 3050 Ti-powered device and the Pro X 120G are identical.
Its strange new suffix could be an allusion to some unique selling characteristics, such as an update to Alder Lake platforms or the inclusion of a 120Hz display refresh rate.
According to their well-publicized key specifications, the 55- and 65-inch Redmi Smart TV X (2022) models that are entering a new market are its partner under the hashtag #YourNewView theme. This image is furthered by a creative teaser in which the K in “4K” is composed of what resembles their tiny bezels.
As a result, come August 30, 2022, they might be welcome additions to the Indian market for smart screens, ex-Redmi status aside.
